Thanks for the info all. One last question as I normally put in at Hall's and never been there in January. Maybe a silly question but do you moore your boat at the marina this time of year or pull out every night ? TIA

Does anyone know when the Executive Services ramp was put in? I’m trying to figure out what the water level was when they put the Executive Services ramp in. Sq

Got back late last night from our trip. We was the only boat that launched yesterday at the main ramp according to the park rangers. As you can see in the pictures, the bottom of the ramp is muddy and gets worse further out. The graph picture shows the cofferdam. The lake was absolutely gorgeous and very quite. The fishing was good with steady action all day.

I guess I shouldn't rely on my memory, but I remember they built a cofferdam and poured a lot down and made the ramp down at the bottom, full width, as it was about half the width as the top, And I think they did the exec, ramp and extended the ferry ramp to the north at that time, because they were having trouble using the ferry, which at one point was coming up to the main ramp.

Looking at the Water Data charts on David Fordham's site, Ihe numbers don't jibe with my memory, so I guess I should just babble to myself.... It's tough to live so long and have so many memories.

Thanks for sharing all of those.

It was put in at relatively low water. I wish I had the elevation, but my memory (too) is shaky. It's definitely the most usable low-water ramp at Bullfrog (which is why the Ferry moves over there at low water). I do know that it becomes unusable due to higher water. It somewhat frequently is totally submerged - as just happened summer before last.

This was bottom of the ramp April 6, 2019. 3568 and change. I looked back at the Data, the lake barely dropped from here for 3 more days then the huge rise happened. You can see them launching in the dirt to the left of the ramp past the coffer dam.

So we are currently 11 feet above this but dropping a foot every 5 to 6 days. We will be looking at this picture in real time in 20 to 25 days. I live in Colorado and can attest that the snowpack really really stinks right now. Just hoping that La Nina gives up soon!

Squirrel you were correct, we graphed over the coffer dam today, saw 6 feet out in front of the ramp. If you stay straight and are careful you could launch at the main ramp. There is a dock around to the east of the ramp but it makes a long walk to the parking lot. Executive is nice now but will be a zoo when it gets busy. I should have gotten better pic’s but I was a little busy when we went into the ramp, we went into about 4 feet of water and could 5C2950A9-336B-40B1-9FC7-33E997C55239.jpegsee the ramp from waters edge to our boat.

Thanks for the update buddy, mountainman graphed the coffer dam yesterday at about 6’. It’s gonna get real crazy this spring/summer this year. It was stupid last year without any dock at the Executive Services ramp. Sq

Would there be any primitive launching in Stanton Creek at this level?
I launched at Stanton on Thanksgiving day, there was not many options left . If they would let us launch at the Hobie cat , that would help. I plan on going down in the next month, I plan on going to Stanton and looking it over .

I think Ryan posted this week that it’s OK to launch at Stanton. I’ve not heard about not being able/legal to launch at Hobie Cat. Sq

Dave, did you happen to graph 1/4 mile off the Stanton haystacks? That area is going to be a prop buster again this year. Sq
