It sounds like they were not using the concrete section of the main ramp, more likely the area to the left of the concrete ramp. That area to the left has a very gradual slope to it. Correct? Sq

I think the slope increases when the water gets down a bit lower. We launched off of there in 2019 when the water was around 3569 and didn't have to back out very far.

"check"? "mail"? How archaic, you're showing your age Squirrel.
OH MY! I am sure I have irritated a lot of folks when I ask them to send me a check (or cash) when buying my book. A apologize to all of you for being old school. I have no clue about VEMNO? (sp?)or other ways and means for paying without using cash. But, I just passed my 45th year while working at Lake Powell. I probably have a few years on Squirrel as well.

I am lucky to have a lot of fishing pictures from my younger days which I use more often than the old guy pictures. I will keep doing that to keep my image younger than older - unless I get another big fish then I will have to man up to being more mature. If the fish is big enough no one will look at me anyway. :) Still looking for that 50 pounder!

It does look suspicious ! -

I have launched to the far right of this pic 10 years ago (+/-) -- I think you can see an old black pavement on a ridge maybe 4' above the water line -- I have not launched below that pavement line -- The pavement was an oozing mess if I remember correctly

Yes we got about 10" in Evergreen last night but it doesn't do Powell any good. We will take ANY snow we can get as dry as it has been the last 2 years. Sq
