Nothing yet, but if the water drops a few feet, it could be tight getting out. Especially for the houseboats on the North side of the store (and that's me). I didn't really look all that closely at the slips on the south side of the store, but my sense was they have a bit more wiggle room. What needs to happen at Hall's? We just switched to a houseboat there last fall and will be starting our trip next Saturday. Anything I need to be looking out for?
This is why I asked for Pictures ..The Wahweap docks were moved out again today (apparently - I'm not there).
You should be fine. I’m on the inside, so it could become an issue. They’ve already had to move me for the season from the end tie to an interior spot as they couldn’t get the trash and ice barge between me and the shore. We are on the north side, but on the last row facing the tires, so I would think it would be difficult to have issues getting out, though I can see how every other spot could get dicey.
I was wondering why your boat had moved. Was that last year? You should be fine. I’m on the inside, so it could become an issue. They’ve already had to move me for the season from the end tie to an interior spot as they couldn’t get the trash and ice barge between me and the shore.
Last year we had to move from the buoy to a slip for insurance. This year when they removed the old A/C dock and replaced it, I was supposed to move to the end tie on the new C dock that’s north of the store. It’s really the overnight small boat slips, but they were putting us on the end. With the narrow gap between the end of the slip and ramp, they were concerned with getting the ice and trash barge past us without hitting us. We’re in a temporary (at least through 2021) spot on C dock right against the main walkway.I was wondering why your boat had moved. Was that last year?
