They are moving the marina out another 100'. The power outage yesterday walkway clousure today arewas to due to extending out the utilities to the marina.
Only 100ft? Dang, there are boat's that would have a hard time backing out, or even getting in, if that is the case.

Noticed today that a houseboat was docking on the west side of B dock. It looks like the moved the finger closer to G dock. Meaning, the back of our houseboat (we are on east side of B dock) is closer to G dock. It appears that way anyway.

A few shots from Monday of the docks. Two pictures taken from the main walkway just south of the fishing area. The courtesy docks on the south side were absolutely unusable due to that far end (looking like from a distance) touching the land. Looking north, seems real tight over there, thought about taking the speed boat over but priorities prevailed.

I am here now, and I will say, it's very close but I did see a 16ft wide boat was able to pass through. I would have a hard time getting out with any wind at all, but it can be done,

2 weeks is what we were told when the docks will be moved out 150ft. With the work getting done it will be closer to a month. They poured one pad for the power today, and I was wondering why they did not pour the 2nd one. then I was reminded, "Hey this is a government job" .. :)

On a better note I finished the big project on my boat today. Very happy with the results! But this will be a discussion for a different thread.

Who has eyes on the Whawep Marina? Has the dock been moved yet? My guess is no because I would have seen or heard something.

Its been a month, and I was told 2 weeks ... so maybe in 2 weeks?
