If your set on fitting in truck bed I made a 5' extension when we got the camper so we could pull boat and trailers before we had a bumper pull and I'd pull doubles not for everybody and not legal in some states plus have diamond back cover to haul the 4 wheelers to. I know they make them for sxs's to there'bunch of options on racks. With the ext. you could lower tail gate.
Had a Polaris in 09 when they first come out my only complaint would be it would beat my back up in a day of riding in Moab. Next was 2012 Polaris 4 seater which was day and night on suspension mostly got to take grand kids with but really liked the longer wheel base for rock crawling and wash board roads. We now have a 2020 Can am 2 seater at the time we bought I thought Polaris had dropped the ball on fit and finish and I was impressed with the Can am but I think Polaris is back in the game. My son just got a Honda talon 4 seater and it is really nice I'm leaning that way next.
Quality never have had problem with any of the machines they've all got pros and cons some don't like drive belts never had a problem that's what high and lows for but I carry a back up.
Biggest thing is air cleaners put after market on Polaris's and now maybe they pull air different now, I clean every trip. My favorite rides in the sxs are just after a rain no dust prepare they are dusty sometimes just depends on trail? No matter what brand they'll go where ever you dare.
If it was me I'd go with great suspension it's worth it to me. We try to go to Kanab in March the crazies aren't out yet we stay at Coral Pink sand dunes nice campground and miles of trails lots of sights.
