Not sure about your specific need but look at Hollywood racks.

Well it's not hunting related but if you're hitch shank has 6in of clearance you can have this one. It was mounted to a tow bar that I got to flat tow my colorado.

Sorry I went MIA on the discussion. I haven’t used any different bullets. I’ve been using Barnes bullets since I bought the gun and they were always supremely accurate. I learned that Barnes sold to Remington and then Remington went under and was purchased by Sierra (I think is how that went) so I was thinking maybe the round had changed but I went to the range and debunked that.

Now…I figured I would add to this one more time as it feels right.

For the first time ever I was able to see the southern side of lake Powell as I crossed the dam last week! You guys are right…a lot more going on down south than up north! I was headed on my first ever RIFLE Coues deer trip in southern Arizona. I had previously tried bow hunting them s few years ago but it was more of a vacation than hunting!

I was able to have a fantastic time in the 75 degree heat and bag a great buck on day 4 of my hunt.

I may have to give those all copper bullets another try. Alot has changed in the last 30yrs, (where does the time go).
Congratulations on the cues deer, that's a nice one for sure.
Any chance that hunt will hit your utube channel?

Yes it will be there. Who knows when lol. Next fall probably. I’ve got quite the backlog. That little guy keeps my editing time to a minimum.

I understand, I have a couple of those laying around also. That's why I showed the clearance needed.
Another thing to consider is a front hitch receiver for the front of your truck. This is where I haul my e bike. It also provides a mounting point for a winch if needed.

Agreed, that’s why I gave him the holiday link. They have front racks that are pricey but great.

I'm not a hunter but have been surrounded by hunters most of my life. Our family lifestyle always revolved around being on the water or near water when ever possible, mostly Mexico and Lake Powell, 1963 to present day.
I've been told "it's never to late to become a hunter". Now that my diet is 90%ish red meat and eggs it would be great to kill and process some meat myself. Anyways, I have much respect for hunters, the hard work and dedication it's takes to responsibly harvest the healthies protein and fat available for human consumption.

We’ve also done a couple cast and blast trips this fall/winter on the Green (certainly John Wesley related right). Peters drift boat has been a great new tool for our crew, expanding our reach for trips and opportunities we haven’t otherwise been able to have. Only negative is it can eat into time that probably would be spent at Powell. Like this thread, there are many incredibly beautiful and fulfilling adventures to be had other places too. But, we all know Powell is the best. This site is the best. We will be back soon.
