It’ll be interesting this weekend to see how many folks continue to use Stateline Aux (vs Wahweap) for the shorter walk. But once the lower dirt lot fills, that advantage will disappear.

Thanks to all for the pics and updates! Does anyone know what the large dock/parking at Wahweap Main between the ramp and the pumpout dock is used for? Is this NPS moved over from south of the marina or something new? Temporary or staying there?

NPS and Law Enforcement dock is located between Wahweap Pump-Out dock and Wahweap Main Ramp. It’s been there since at least last year as far as I recall.

Here’s a great illustration of just how FAST the water’s rising...this was Wahweap Main Ramp just 10 days ago on May 17, 2023. Compare to above taken today May 27.

Anybody have pics or updates on how close bullfrog main is? The posted information, I don’t think accounts for recent work on the ramp, curious if anyone has any up to date info? Someone has to be down there this weekend?

We left on Wednesday morning and the spur was open, but we need several more feet for Bullfrog main to open unless they place the boiler plates down

WAHWEAP LOWER LOT IS CLOSING SOON. JUST IN FROM ARAMARK:

Wahweap Marina Guest,

Due to the rising water level of Lake Powell, operational change must be made.

This is a notice of closure for Wahweap Main Marina lowest level gravel parking lot is effective Tuesday 05/30/2023. Please remove all vehicles by this date, remaining vehicles must be evacuated or will be towed at owner's expense to protect against the rising waters.

On Tuesday there will be no bridge access to the main marina from the lower parking lot. The entry to the lower gravel lot will be blocked, exit can be made via the bypass road to the main launch ramp.

Hope they put up a sign at the lot last week. This isn't hard to predict at this point and there are no doubt houseboaters out there who won't be back till after Tuesday. Surprises happen, but this shoudn't be one of those and a 3-day notice isn't very thoughtful.

We had 2 days notice when they closed Hall’s ramp, and we were down on the SJ.
