Neither campground is busy. The RV park has one occupant and the primitive campground has four maybe five. Been fishing as far south as Escalante and as far north as Crystal Springs. Same - same...pretty spotty for SMB, LMB and walleye. Nonexistant for stripers; for us at least.
Thanks for posting the pic. The wife feels better already. Now just need the no wake zone up!

What’s the debris situation up near Crystal? Is it way better down south towards escalate?

Have they decided to rent out the trailer housing units?? See any houseboats launch?? Have they moved a tractor over for dry storage launches???? Hoping to get one in this month. Thx for the update and pic !!

Ok, don't know anything about the dry storage launch tractor and haven't seen any houseboats launch. It almost feels like Rip VanWinkle is just waking up around here. The NPS just installed a dock at the ramp yesterday and squared away some tires for a breakwater today. While I cannot be certain, I believe the trailer housing units are open for business. I saw a group of Memorial Day Weekenders occupying one of them.

What.?.. I called and they said the family units were not open until 2024
When we called about them from earlier trip when we saw the new fridges and furniture stacked out side them, they told us the target date was Memorial Day weekend, like the restaurant at the bullfrog Defiance Lodge. But they got them open before. We saw people using them on the weekend of 5/20. Restaurant was not open, they did not do a good job of telling people that when booking rooms. We watched and heard a couple groups head to restaurant to eat only to find out they were not open. They had rooms and were not told, one group loaded up and headed back to Hanksville to eat. They did not bring dinner . I ended up cooking for our group of 10 that weekend!
Not sure if restaurant is open now?Maybe someone can answer that.

New update from NPS today -

That's AWESOME NEWS!!!!! Thanks for posting.

This is before yesterday's sad event at the Marina--my sincere condolences to the owners on Dock B.

Lone Rock is clearly an island, the Cut advances particularly from Warm Creek, and all the islands in Waheap are gone. The dates include May 2nd, May 12th, and June 1st. Contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data from 2023 and is processed by Sentinel Hub.

Sad picture but you can see the water is covering a corner of the lower lot now. There's still a car parked very close to the water as well.

The upper lot is closed and getting closer to dippin it's toes in the water. Also crazy to see how short the Stateline Auxillary ramp is. And of course, boating around Lone Rock was fantastic. Ate lunch and swam on the North side.

Has anyone been to the Hall's Crossing marina recently? Any pics of the water level there?

When we were there in 21 it was quite a steep and lengthy walk down to the marina and back up to the parking lot pushing carts.
