Per the official NPS announcement on Friday 4/28/23:

South Lake Powell, (located near Page, Ariz.):
Antelope Point Marina Business Ramp (Antelope Valet)– all vessels ~ 3540’
Wahweap Main – all motorized vessels ~ 3546’
Stateline – all non-motorized vessels ~ 3564’
Antelope Point Public – all non-motorized vessels ~ 3588’

North Lake Powell, (Bullfrog and Halls Crossing, UT)
Bullfrog North Ramp – to include larger vessels and houseboats ~ 3529’
Bullfrog Spur – all vessels up to 25ft ~ 3540’
Halls Crossing Public – use at your own risk ~ 3556’
Bullfrog Main – all vessels ~ 3578’

Just left Bullfrog. They have a dozer at the main ramp and have knocked down the old coffer dam. That will certainly help with launching hazards when the water comes up. It may make the spur ramp a little sketchy unless they knock it down further, next to the spur ramp.

Right to the edge of the cliff! I am so glad to see this!

It'll be a relief to see this new concrete covered deep enough to launch and retrieve houseboats, without having to truck everything all the way to and from Wahweap, hopefully for many years to come.

Putting Antelope Valet back in service will be a major improvement for us Antelope customers, and it will take a lot of pressure off the Wahweap facilities.

It sure bodes well for us on the south end of the lake. Now, I'm wondering how long it will take to make the same improvements at the Antelope Public Ramp? Does anybody know how much the lake has to rise to put the Antelope Cart/Pedestrian Ramp from the parking lot to the Floating Marina Complex back in operation?

You can start seeing non-trivial changes between 2023-04-17 and 2023-05-02. This gif is from Jan 7 to May 2, 2023 and contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data from 2023 and processed by Sentinel Hub. Couldn't upload too many days in this gif due to limits, but you get the idea.

I saw Thelma and Louise sizing up this ramp.

Bullfrog executive ramp 05/05 & 05/06 2023
Lake elevation: 3528.5 to 3829.5

Launched around 9:30am and off around 3:30pm both days, boats are launching 2-3 wide, had no significant wait times or congestion to speak of other than normal process. Seen some larger boats launching but no houseboats. Per the advice of previous posters I dropped my trailer at one of the upper lots and was able to park right at the top of the executive ramp, probably 10 minutes round trip. Didn't get any depths but I was able to drop my motor all the way down pretty much immediately and when I walked about 6' into the water to ratchet up my boat the water was over 2' deep.

Sorry no pics

The heavy equipment that knocked down the coffer dam is now assisting with work on the grounded docks/marina buildings to the east of the ramp
My wife and I were just fishing around that island last Monday. Great to see it's now an actual island.

Curious what they are doing with Dangling rope. Are they repairing the foam underneath so it will float? Or does it look like they are finally dismantling it?
