The birds in the first picture are NOT sitting on the water but they are standing on a sand bar. I am sure there are lots of people who can tell me where this is?

Near white, couldn't get to Farley that sand bar was below White but we snuck by it and got into White a couple weeks ago.

I got the mom and her two kids playing on the sand stone last year in the SJ. That is cool and I am glad they are still in the area.

Yup, that's them, Previous trip, my fishing partner saw one run up into it's den in Cha. He snuck up and heard tin cans being fiddled with in the den. Guess there was quite a collection of "toys". He didn't go in or disturb it. Mom and babies were in Paiute this last trip. Donkey's still cruising around with two still suckling. Come to think of it, messing with an otter in his own home could be painful.
