And, some photos from my earliest trips to Lake Powell in early the 70's to start things off. This is where it all started for me: Lake Powell, fishing, and boating. Sorry for the poor quality of these old photos.

The group shot makes me laugh. I’m sure everyone has had this moment. Ok everyone let’s take a group shot! Then boom wind starts howling! Can’t wait to get back on the lake! Going to be a little different in 2020 with twins coming in July! I will make sure to get my own canyon so I don’t wake any of you in the middle of the night with two crying babies!EF1B3A36-9B97-4F4A-BE69-6A2B337073E1.jpegB4B1AE11-4231-4F16-BB09-E9FA9284551A.jpeg689E7F7A-A1D1-4AF4-91AF-89853267BBEB.jpeg07184664-9FCB-4E6C-A5CD-8E6EC2E11CB7.jpeg

Party time! Quick story. I always invited some friends from North Carolina to come each year. One was a bass player, another was a guitar player. One of their friends expressed interest in coming with them so I said heck ya. Our first night playing, the new guy disappeared and reappeared with a sax. No one even knew he played but he tore it up. He was on leave from Iraq and had a great time. What a great surprize for all of us. I know I have posted some of these in the past but couldn't help myself.

This canyon changes every time I have visited it. I believe if the lake fills another 10 feet over what is was in 2019 there is a third step, I hope I get to see it in 2020!
