Barzarz, do you remember the date your Hite pic is from ??? Not much navigable water there....

Botnb,
That was taken June 14, 2015.
You're right... not much water there.

See next picture (with no water) taken this spring, March, 2018, sad.
The second picture (with water) was taken Sept. 2017. We were fortunate to launch several times out of Hite last year, 2017. I think our last time was Thanksgiving weekend.
I suspect that will be the last time I will experience this.
My wife and I really enjoyed camping on the shore at Hite,

And, last picture, the Hite primitive boat launch area was really active (September 23, 2017)...

Barz, I haven't been up to Hite for many years. The last trip, there was so much deadwood on the shoreline, we couldn't get the Motorhome close to the water, and it was too hot to have campfires.. That pic of me on the conn of battleship was a clowning of climbing up on the conn, after beaching(?) , on the main deck level ( all rock ). I don't even remember the exact year, but I was in a whole lot better shape, then... LOL Sometime in the 90's

Caught 'ol fat boy , working on the shade top on the houseboat, I would have cleaned up , had I known it was coming through the parking lot.. Har, har….:p:D

Great pics all, but Pegasus really fooled me. I thought either an old washed out picture or techno washout. Took me a few seconds to realize--snow. Really a change of pace! Reed, looking at LCC glass really hurts right now.

Botnb,
We really enjoy the upsteam end of the lake, may have to start a thread for just Hite pictures, or even Good Hope Bay. Seems when you are in sight of the Castle Butte, it just feels fishy. IMG_9297.JPGI think Dungee has a lock on that that area!
We have learned a lot from his posts and the other Wordling anglers...

I really wanted to climb the Battleship just like you did, and stand on the conn, but I think the fish started biting and we did not pull it off. Great pictures. Both the Battleship and your Google street view! All hands on deck in either case...

I'll attach another picture of the battleship in case others can't visualize what you are standing on!
