Bullfrog North (Executive) Ramp

MOST everything in life comes down to money. Losing Hite wasn't that big of a blow, losing Bullfrog would be a different story. Still way too much money to be made at that location.
I remember when there was a lot of traffic at Hite. It was never a Wahweep, but it had houseboat rentals, store, fuel dock and a lot of fisherman to whom it was the preferred marina. Some memories of boating under the bridge and going up the Colorado River a ways.

It is fun to remember fuel at Hite Marina, going under the bridge, up the Dirty Devil and more. No matter the conditions of the lake time there creates memories and when the water starts coming back up or what ever happens there will be wonderful memories.

Love this attitude! Yes, we need more water, yes launching and access need the attention given them. But I’m really excited to get down (yes, again under some interesting circumstances. Building a small boat to gain access), see a new lake a lower levels and slay some fish. It will be a fun memory and interesting to recollect on in the future once, and hopefully when water levels come back up.

Those were great times. We loved having our cruiser in a wet slip at Hite for a number of years, and like you mentioned it was amazing heading up the Dirty Devil a few miles. It was also an adventure in the spring idling through the debris and logs coming out of the rivers, to get to clear water heading south on the lake.

I am VERY thankful for the ramp extension (when it comes) but this does a very good job of displaying the parking challenges we will face this year.

Last year it was over a mile walk from the slip to the parking area. Will be worse this year, but at least we will be on the water.
