Here is the Bullfrog Main Ramp, 2:30pm today when I got out for a drive in between snow blowing. You can see the rocks popping outta the water.

Pretty depressing! Rocks at the bottom of a boat ramp can be a problem... Common' Snow!

Could that be parts of the old dam they built durning the ramp extension. It was all but flooding when they tried to remove it. Maybe if it gets lower it would be a good time to get equipment in there and clean it up.

Yes it’s over by the houseboat docks on the northern side of the ridge going down through the parking area

Yes the cofferdam is at the main ramp and yes they are both in Bullfrog. And yes they are both for public use, but currently the Main Ramp is closed until the water comes back up.

Did some digging, the BoR now estimates the low for the lake to be at 3565, its currently at 3573. Still going to be a long road and more good water years needed to start filling up Lake Powell. Keeping it on the positive in Jan they predicted the low to be in the 3550 range, so Feb Snow has helped the lake level a ton! Few more good wet snow between now and runoff and hopefully they will bump it up. They are also currently scheduled to release about 20% less water in 2019 than 2018, so keeping fingers crossed!

Lake Bum : Its my understanding that the Spring runoff came up to quick the year that last extension was put in preventing the cofferdam from being taken down.

They had water coming over the top when they dug it out. Had to be doing it all by feel. Considering that they did pretty good. NPS needs to take a day now and finish it right
