I never clicked it. I’ll never know what I’m missing and don’t want to. Usually I’m the one posting about snow, and when I do it doesn’t amount to much. So I’ve learned to not be the jinx.

I just drove from salt lake airport back to green river. The interstate closed early in the morning but I hit it perfectly. Raining lake crazy in the salt lake valley, snowing at park city and pretty dry through Wyoming. Hopefully it hits tonight!

6” in Pinedale last night, new forecast is for an additional 6-12” over the next few days. Mountains are getting hammered with way more…bring it on!

That upper green has been “under performing” in snow totals the last couple years so I hope it does what it’s supposed to! ”We” could use some big reprieve!

The year is starting off pretty good . Not to get off on a tangent for the thread, but The upper Green has actually been near average the past 20 years compared to the Colorado. Most of the water is contributed from the Winds and the Wyoming Range. The depressing part is that the good snowpack has not translated into streamflow, especially later in the season. Let’s hope these atmospheric rivers keep aiming in our direction!

Gotcha! With all the charts I look at, it just has seemed to stay “dry”.

We have had a light snow in Page for the last 3 or 4 days. It doesn't not stick but the ground is wet and water has to be running into the lake.
That is the positive event we have been waiting for. Hope it keeps snowing and then runs down the river well into the Springtime.

i've shovelled plenty of snow and enjoy it, but like gardening i know i'm not usual in that regards.

any ground that is frozen and covered with snow is going to keep better ground moisture levels than the bare spots so i'm really glad there is early snow pack and snow cover and i sure hope it keeps on coming.

Wolf Creek Ski is getting a big storm right now.....the ski hill is on the eastern slope by about 1/2 mile so the western side is getting it too. Chuck

The staff at snow bowl have been shoveling snow all day and can't keep up with the snow.

Chaco Canyon received about an inch of rain followed six inches of snow over the last two days. We almost didn’t get out of there, that clay when it gets wet is a nightmare.

I was just clicking around on watershed maps and just learned thar Chaco Canyon is a tributary of the San Juan. I didn't realize that Havalina was doing a little recon on our lake water!

Thats why I posted it. Other than the really cool pic of that wall of snow moving at sixty miles an hour. I really wish that atmospheric river would move south and fill Lake Meade.
