Based on new information from NPS(Thanks JFR), we have a new closure target for the Bullfrog North Ramp. That number is 3522. Yesterday's elevation was 3523.91 with a 2 week decline rate of -.04'/day. So a new anticipated closure date is 47 days from today or: March 14, 2023. Based on regional temperatures the inflows could change dramatically. In my corner of SW Colorado we are sitting on 24" of wet snow, which will find itself directly in Lake Powell(no intermediate reservoirs). If we get some warmer temperatures in the next month, I could see the North Ramp not closing for smaller vessels before the main melt from higher elevations begins. Alternatively, cold temperatures will keep the snow locked up and out of the streams. We'll see what happens.
