LP walleye question

Cant beat a 3.8” keitech fat impact swimbait for walleye.

Mudcracked, Is the 3.8" keitech fat impact swimbait used on a drop shot rig?

Sorry, I have a tbi and can not remember all of the names. As you are heading north to the bay of good hope. You will go just up river from forgotten
canyon. The tapestry wall will be on your port side and ends at warm springs canyon. If you download google earth you will be able to find it. The channel is named olympic bar in that area.

Hi Gary , the only true test will be when you take to the lake and cast them. Unfortunately not even Lucky craft are perfect , but they will at least be tuned out of the box. A trick you can use if they are slowly rising still at the lake is to bring hooks a size or two larger than the hooks that came on it. The larger hooks will usually counter balance the rise. I would rather have a slowly rising bait than a sinking one. You just have may have to fish a faster cadence like 3 seconds . The really slow retrieve that I mentioned is for very lethargic , cold water and post cold front fish .. usually 3 to five seconds and ten at the most good ! I will try to post a video on how I fish these baits and the tricks I use with them within the next few weeks so folks have a better idea. Cheers

Sorry man , I never made it to the lake this spring before the closures of San Juan county and LP , and our local lakes closed down several weeks before powell , so I guess that’s my excuse . but as soon as I get a chance to get on the boat I will make a video for anyone interested and post on LP fishing board on WW
