You can get those slabs at reaxtionlures.com. Look under products on his home page and the go to foil prune pickers. He has several packages he sells . Someone on this site mentioned this lure a couple months ago and that is how I found him, not sure who but thank you who ever it was!

That would be me...but I can't take all the credit as someone posted it in a thread probably a year or so ago and I added it to my favorites. :)

And here is an item I have wanted to try. Maybe since it is hard to get the school excited due to heavy forage this might be just the thing to do it.

Oh MY! I will have to do some research on this. I thought painting a shad school on the bottom of my boat was enough. Now I can give them some sounds to dance to!

Apparently used a lot at Texoma with good results.

For the price I might order one, but will not get up there to try it until the fall due to a new job this spring. So I was hoping you would splurge as now is the prime time to use one.....or I could buy it now and let you do the field testing. Just say the word and it will be on it's way. :cool:

I have no experience on this to offer, but I purchased some spoons online that look pretty promising at least. The Blade Runner Duh spoon at 1 3/4 oz.

Maybe the realism and/or UV colors will trigger a few extra hits from finicky fish?
We'll see how it goes when I make it out there some time in February.
Also I was thinking of tying some feathers on a few of the treble hooks, kinda like the Wally lure pictured earlier in the thread. Worth a try.

Always!

I actually bought some slabs on ebay

I made a fluid bed with pvc parts from Home Depot and an aquarium pump, powder painted them, hand-painted some extra color on them, stuck on some eyes. In the end though it looks like buying this guy's stuff is way easier and the cost difference is almost a wash.
