CAUTION, LOW WATER

@buckin_ho , sorry, but I don't think it is too much to ask that a major hazard between the only two marinas on the north side of the lake be marked. Especially when NPS says they mark hazards on the main channel.

That expectation is a little different than expecting them to "wipe my nose".....

Amazing aerial photos! That's what I finally helped somebody. Well let's hope this starts getting underwater soon and has another 40 feet of water Above It by June.

I haven't promoted these maps for a while, but they can help: Lake Powell - Lake Level Maps

There are 16 different selectable maps to work with the current water level. With the current water level at 3570', I suggest a 3560' Shallow Depth map. Giving you 10' of clearance less your draft when you cross the Shallow Depth contour.

They work on laptops, older Garmin and Lowrance gps units, iPhones - iPads, Android phones and tablets.

Thanks for the heads up! Many years ago we used to drive through the haystacks on our way up lake! Seeing the water this low is valuable information for that GPS in my head as a reminder to not cut the corners! Heading down Tuesday-Thursday for the first trip of the year!
