I live in San Juan County and I can attest that the majority of 'locals' do not want anymore parks, monuments or wilderness study areas.
The BLM has been closing roads and campsites just as fast as they can. Although not a 'new' thing, they are sneaky pinko's.

Okay, I think this thread has run its course. The relevance of this thread to Lake Powell has gone from questionable to arguably non-existent. Time to move on to other discussions. Thanks!
