The best part of being a Wording / SHAD was you were never alone on the lake. We were a non profit organization of volunteers to promote and educate visitors to protect and preserve our fishery for future generations, and what Wayne's Words represents. Take a kid fishing.

You couldn't be MORE right with that statement, Goldcup! I feel cheated that I went to Powell my entire life, and didn't hook up with the Goobers at the Shad Rallies until about the 2010 Rally or so. We all have one MAJOR thing in common......we love Powell!

Everyone that ordered here has to look at the WWFlags thread next to this one and then order by sending a $20 check to Jon or Inge Gilbert. Inge will make the flag and then Jon will mail it to you.

Jon & Inge Gilbert have accepted the challenge to make flags again for those wordlings that would like to order a flag. We got about 40 responses on the first thread. Here are the instructions for ordering your flag.

Jon says to mail a check for $20 to:

Then Jon will mail you a flag as soon as they are ready.

There is one left but the ties were broken in the wind. We can pick it up from the base of the dam but I need someone to hang down on a rope from the top of the dam and pick it up. If you are willing to go over the edge you can have the flag in the picture.
