Thank you so much!Judy will be mentioned in our prayers for healing. Ed as a caregiver you need to remember to take a few moments everyday and take a deep breath for yourself and then say a prayer of Thanks for every one of those 37 years.
I'm concentrating on taking my wife back and forth to Mayo Clinic Hospital for follow up labs and medication adjustments. It's a tricky balancing act to get the medications right. One of the anti-rejection medications actually reduces kidney function, so she has to take something to counteract those side effects which leads to another medication to counter the side effects from that medication. This morning she had early morning labs and a follow up, and then I had to bring her back at 4 p.m. for an ultrasound. In between, rather than return home, we went out to breakfast and then saw the movie Pressure which was a good movie. It takes 15-25 minutes, depending on traffic, to get from our house to Mayo Hospital which is not bad for Phoenix, but we decided to have a date day in between the appointments for some relief from all this.I hope you are holding up there ok? I'm sure you are getting some of your fishing jonesing from reading reports here.Hang in there!

No anchovies for me! I won't allow those smelly things in my boat! Gunpowder maybe!Well, Ed, my daughter may be an important player in your wife’s treatment. She is a pharmacist at Mayo and regularly works in infusion and med lab. She is very proud of Mayo and their unsurpassed professionalism and staff. Of course HIPAA prevents her from disclosing patients, will never know her role. But I can tell her to be particularly diligent with anybody with a whiff of gunpowder or anchovies..
We will pray for her healing and recovery.
