That might not be because of the shutdownWahweap North gate has been open but not staffed all day.
I was sent a message about 3 weeks ago that they were closing and to make sure my boat was removed by the 27th. I don't think this had anything to do with the shutdown.word over here in Colorado Blue Mesa NPS has gates locked and ramps closed.

I wonder how this works for all the parks in Utah that have furloughed their entire fees staff so that money cannot be collected.I’m a little late to this party, have been in my camper for a week. I had a stay in fort Pickens bu they closed it. From a friend in the park service, “ if the park generates money through user fees, they should stay open as long as they have money coming in to cover the bills” they can also be covered by local entities such as the state. ultimately it is up to each superintendant. Good luck all, I am heading to a state park in St. George island for a few day.
Yeah I don’t think it was supposed to go like that…I wonder how this works for all the parks in Utah that have furloughed their entire fees staff so that money cannot be collected.
