Will the Government shutdown close Lake Powell?

We have a houseboat rental out of Bullfrog marina on Monday. I just called and they said the shutdown will not affect the boat rentals.

I was sent a message about 3 weeks ago that they were closing and to make sure my boat was removed by the 27th. I don't think this had anything to do with the shutdown.

I’m a little late to this party, have been in my camper for a week. I had a stay in fort Pickens bu they closed it. From a friend in the park service, “ if the park generates money through user fees, they should stay open as long as they have money coming in to cover the bills” they can also be covered by local entities such as the state. ultimately it is up to each superintendant. Good luck all, I am heading to a state park in St. George island for a few day.

I wonder how this works for all the parks in Utah that have furloughed their entire fees staff so that money cannot be collected.

We arrived yesterday and didn’t notice any changes….so far. Aramark is in full operation, as is the UTAH AIS checks.
