Just an FYI......saw today on Fox news....(alleged news, but ain't they all.... ).....AND on X....that Sept 30th could be a gov't shutdown....

again, just an FYI....& I agree with Ryan.....most likely a nothing burger.....

But maybe....... launch on the 29th...just to be sure?

Heck, folks have called in sick for less important reasons.....

We had rented a houseboat from Aramark when the government shutdown. Since that was the only time I had vacation, we couldn't reschedue. They were going to keep our deposit but we finally got it back. They did let owners of houseboat go aboard and winterize their boats the last shutdown. Good luck.

I just called NPS in Page and asked if the launch ramps will remain open if the government shuts down, she said yes. I then called Bullfrog Marina Executive Services and asked the same question. She said both the park entrance and the launch ramp will remain open. For what it's worth.
