Easy for you to say, Jason! Don't believe your new set up is quite that small! By the way, until we are no longer camping at the HC campground (because we will have found the perfect houseboat for us), we will miss you and Landen! We'll be watching for you on the water, though. We are planning our first fall trip in 4 wks and 5 days (day after Labor Day) but who's counting!;)
Tell Landen hi for us as well!

At Lake Powell, even during the monsoons in August, we found a small house swamp cooler very comfortable. We had a small RV AC for a while and it would cool the front only (our boat is 52'). The swamp cooler blows a cool breeze all through the boat. The bonus is that it runs off of a Honda 2000, with a 1/3 h.p. motor. You have to start the generator without the cooler on and wait until it is warm to turn on the cooler. We put the generator on shore 100' away, and barely hear it. We just upgraded to a Honda 2200 generator, so I expect that to run even better.

I have a 2000 32' Party Cruise that Is in dry storage at Antelope Point that I may consider selling. It has its own trailer, A/C and Honda 3KW generator. It Looks very close to the boat listed by botnb above but mine has a mercruiser stern drive and 112lb thrust 36 volt Minn Kota Terrova iPilot on the front.

Thanks for the info! We wondered if a swamp cooler might be a good choice
