On my last trip around the first of Jan. I noticed a white van parked at the top of the exec ramp as I was motoring in past all the houseboats. As I got closer to the dock I saw the van drive down and park next to the dock. It took me a couple of minutes to tie up, turn off electronics, and piddle around before I walked up the dock. As I got closer I saw it was a shuttle services van. The guy had his window down and I jokingly asked if he was going to give me a ride. He said he saw me coming in and waited to give me a ride to the parking lot. I was the only truck and trailer there at the time and parked at the top about as close as you can get. He was kinda like the old Maytag repairmen. He gave me a lift up and we sat there and BSed awhile. This was my first shuttle trip at the lake, a good one. So, they are on call and available if you need them. You’d probably be a welcome diversion.Rick, it’s worth mentioning that there are regularly rides given by us normal folk and also by the bullfrog workers. I am very able to walk the mile but have still been given rides by the employees.
There is also a number you can call or a radio channel or something to get a ride. I’m sure someone will post it here and I believe it was also posted at the top of the executive ramp last year.
