According to the latest water data report the lake is now 3580+. The cut should have water all the way across now. Any confirmation?

Attempted to cross the cut today May 23, 2019. Entered from the Warm Creek side. Made it almost half way. Seemed to have a "hump" and water was only 9" had to turn around. Water was 18" in the entrance. However, this should be the LAST time in LONG time that I will need to go around.

Just went through the cut about an hour ago in our Triton TR21. Depth showed 1.0 at the lowest. We used our jack plate and trimmed to be safe, but others were going through without even trimming.
There was actually a 30+ foot party boat loaded with people that decided they were going to go through hell or low water. They got about 1/4 way in and stopped right in the middle in front of us to kill their motor and 5 or 6 people hopped out and started pushing it through. They eventually convinced a jet ski to pull them through the rest of the way but they made it... lol!

Thanks, can you just show up or do you need a reservation? We are coming next week from Telluride. And by the way, it is dumping here, again. Lots of snow headed south.

7am to 7pm just show up.

You only have to plan ahead if you want to launch one day, and come back after 7, or launch one day and head up lake the next morning prior to 7...

They will launch you and disconnect the trailer in their secure area, then go park your truck in the public parking lot and leave the keys at security. That way for the time between launch and the time they retrieve you (could be days) you can come and go at the public marina as you please and use your vehicle. If you stay on the lake while you’re there, then you’re all set.

Just make sure the day you’re planning to go home to remember dropping the truck and your keys off back to the valet before you go up lake ;-)

They have radios and golf carts to shuttle you and your stuff between the marina, parking, and valet. Channel 14 on land, call channel 16 on the lake to request valet pickup and they’ll redirect you to another land channel.

All this for $20 round trip (plus tip)

What a joy do finally go through The Cut. I will never never never ever complain (whine) again about having to go slow to get through.
( Oh, and also my new Sea-Doo Fishpro. More info forth coming...)

This is another picture from May 23,2019.

Water Level up to 3583.54 at midnight last night. That means the Cut now has 3.5 feet of water most of the way across. It is still wise to go slow and tilt the motor up but chances of hitting a rock or the bottom are much less today. Water temp this morning was 64 compared to 61 yesterday. That should make the bass happy :)
