I use a seek outside Cimarron with full nest. Lite, easy to set and tough. Had it in 60+ winds yesterday here in Colorado and it was rock solid. Only downside is its a little more open to sand getting in but it seems like that's just part of camping at powell.

interesting tent, made in Grand Junction. yeah red sand in everything . cool light weight option for hunt camp.

we use a Eureka Mt Pass 3 man. goes up easy, make sure to leave weight in tent so it doesn't blow away during day. Big enough for 2 cots, best thing we did was buy a couple of cots . floor to keep the snakes out.....

I have a number of mountaineering tents. I also usually just sleep on the back deck of the boat and if needed wrap myself in a tarp when it is raining. That being said, I bought a springbar for the family tent after a thread here a few years ago. I have been extremely happy with it for sure. Awesome tent.

I use a cowboy range tent from Dave Ellis in Colorado. Fast and easy to set up, will withstand high wind, and bad weather. It is also built to last a lifetime. They are also breathable canvas so you can safely burn a lantern, stove, or heater.View attachment 1998
Those are great for horse packin trips! The nylon tents don't breath in cold weather- I have canvas, Alaknak 12x12, also 10x10 Lodge tent- all have their own best purpose!
