Those krakens look like they are pretty sweet. I replaced my old Terrova with the New Terrova brushless Quest. I really like the instant responsiveness, And really pretty much everything about the new motor. Especially the battery drain. The new brushless motor can run on 24 or 36 V. I have mine on two relatively cheap LiPO4 ibatteries running 24 V. I can fish for days and never drain the batteries much at all. I am pretty sure all the brands running brushless motors are equally efficient. The one drawback is that they are nearly twice as heavy as the old Terrovas. Pretty much negated the weight savings I got from going with the Lipo for batteries…

I hear the Lowrance Recon is pretty sweet.
I've had a gen 1 Terrova, a gen 2 Terrova and now I currently run a 2nd generation Ulterra.
I'm extremely happy with my Ulterra so unless it falls off the front of my boat, I'm going to stick with that. Even if it was stolen, I'd probably go with another Ulterra but I must admit, the Recon looks pretty cool. Expensive but kewl........
Jeffinflag fished off my boat quite a bit and he was looking at the Recon to replace his cable steer Power Drive but ended up getting an Ulterra.

They do have a foot pedal, not certain if it is wireless or not, I have never used mine but it is in the boat.
They do have a foot pedal but it is wired. They have an 18 foot wire that plugs into the unit at the bow. Mine is also stored in a locker on the boat and not used. Nice to have if the remote craps out.
I just didn't read, or didn't comprehend the previous post correctly.
There is no wireless foot pedal for an Ulterra.
