I remember the same thing. It wasn't as short lived as the San Juan Marina, but didn't last a whole lot longer.

I remember seeing them near Escalante. Once would have been somewhere between 89-92 (judging by the houseboat I rememberer us being on). But I also remember seeing them back when my folks had their old 17' Larson Tri-hull. That would have been in the 70's or 80's. That boat died in about 1990.
