North Lake Launch Guidance

We launched a 23 foot Skeeter, and the trailer tires were right at the markers - I had seen a post on FB (i think) that NPS picked up a new plate at OffShore a few days ago. At 5:30 this morning we could hear sounds of grading coming from the direction of the ramp. I’m assuming they are adding an extra plate. Will report back when we pull out in 11 days!

We're headed down to celebrate our 13th! Our Honeymoon started 13 years ago today. Spent the week camped in the back of Halls Bay using a rental runabout... My how things have changed! Water levels, boats, and we typically stay much farther from the marina these days!! LOL
We figured being our lucky 13th we might as well spoil ourselves a bit and celebrate on a rental house-boat with some close friends!
Can't wait to see where our 25th takes us! I just hope there is some Powell left to enjoy by then!
 
Well, my attempt at leaving a ramp report Sunday obviously failed, but, better late than never.
The 2.0 ramp is great. No traction issues, and the angle is perfect.
If you're going around the corner to use the courtesy dock, the best route I could find seemed to be to hug the NPS dock and then follow the contour of the island around instead of taking it wide and coming in at the center of the end of the dock. It gets pretty shallow where the big, round, white buoys are straight out from the dock.
 
Heading to the lake tomorrow. Thanks YFF, that answers my question on if the courtesy dock was still at ramp 1.0 (why? Don't know because it's getting too shallow over there). Next question, does anyone have information on houseboat pump out. Is it still in the mud by the old Bullfrog marina and unusable? Or, is there now a houseboat pump out available by the new Hallfrog area?

I dinged one little spot on one prop blade today at 1.0. Not bad. Filed it smooth, all good. There’s low water between the 2 white balls off 1.0. Sq
