North lake access

This is interesting. Sounds like a social experiment precursor to a drained lake.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is open with continued access to the majority of the 1.25 million acres that comprise the park. Many opportunities remain available to enjoy the park, including hiking opportunities, shoreline fishing, beach access, human powered water recreation, and recreation on the Colorado River corridor.

Opinions needed.
We have a houseboat moored at Bullfrog. If we launched our fishing boats on May 8th and spent the next week, thru the 15/16th, fishing with the boat tied up to the houseboat each night would that be legal? In simpler terms launch on the 8th and take out on the 15/16th? As I read the current posting this may not be possible.

Stump jumper- I believe you would be just fine.. I would park your truck/trailer over by the houseboat slips parking area..

It was surreal out there today. Calm this morning. I may have seen one other fishing boat. No boat waves although the wind picked up this afternoon. Started fishing at 11 and came off a little after 4. Had a 70 fish day. Mixture of LM and Smallies. No real big ones but a lot of 2 pounders. Caught 7 or 8 nice crappies picked a few up on spinner bait and threw a grub for a few more. Fish were tight to the shore this Morning in the sun on shelves with big broken rock close to deep water and creaming spinner baits hard. This afternoon Ned rigs worked better but spinner was still good as well. Water temp at 65. Get out there next week.
