We were floating around from Neshki to Paiute on Saturday- from around 10:30 to 2:30, then headed back to the Houseboat between Cha & Trail. Didn’t see many boats while we were floating though. It was quiet on that part of the SJ. Sorry we missed you
Heck we had to pass you somewhere. I did stop to fish a boil and a boat went by us towards the lower end. I was too wrapped up in the fish and I was pouting because that is where I lost my pole, to notice what the boat was, probably you. So close, that’s the time we were in there, from around noon until dark. We stayed in the mouth on our boat Saturday night. May I ask where Trail is?
Trail is upstream of Cha on the south side, before Wilson’s. It looks more like a little alcove than a canyon these days. It does sound like we passed each other at least once

Those cute little otters you featured, were swimming all over one of my go-to fishing spots on the SJ. Needless to say, it wasn't our go -to spot last week. Otters = No fishOh Yeah!
