AND.....he honestly thought......Knockers always float........It was the classic boat owner's double entendre though. It gave him a justifiable out for those questioning his taste.
I know I did. Dolly Parton will never drownAND.....he honestly thought......Knockers always float........
Weren't PFDs called 'Mae Wests' in the 40s?![]()
Yes sir. That’s my boat. The President of the ownership group bought it from the insurance company for $5k. Of course then proceeded to gut and rebuild which was t cheap I am sure.I'd be willing to bet it will be rebuilt. The boat I was partners on was rebuilt after it sank. And there is a thread somewhere on here about that happening to a boat that went down in Halls (I believe it was called Serenity).
Can you kick the Wahweap web cam while you are near it?It's still there, completely submerged. It's surrounded on the surface by some kind of barge-like containment apparatus.
If I remember, I'll take a few pics and post them here.
Wish I could do something meaningful to help. If they'd let me, I'd go up myself and give it a go.Can you kick the Wahweap web cam while you are near it?![]()
Thanks. Saved me some time.
Looks like they moved it off the pump out dock at least.
That sounds like a decent plan, actually.I guess if they keep moving it toward shore, till it bottoms out, do this every other day as the lake rises...then eventually the lake drops, it sits on bottom until fully exposed...does that make easier salvage possible? Been in the water so long, can it even be revitalized?
I thought that was Del Webb?People lost their stuff when ARA got caught "storing" dead batteries under the
Wahweap rental fleet, 90's, yet....
