Hite 2nd trip

They were shallow, I fished mainly in 18 ft to 3 ft of water for the trip's. But a great way to find them, is to troll jig's, until you get one, and then fish them. I like a 1/16 oz to troll, if I'm in this shallow of water. In the spring, they may be suspended in 80, when they are waiting to spawn. I have caught them in 70 ft for year's, night fishing them this time of year.
Good luck, have a good trip.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Dave, were you and your son in Farley's in the spring in Kayak's?
No. I didn’t make it to Farley’s this spring because I heard the water level was so low that it was cut off from the main lake and then when it finally came up it was muddy and filled with debri. I was there mid May 2018 and really got into the crappie during the spawn.Water level was 3609 that spring! This year mid May it was around 3570!
