I will be there Thursday noon. That really sucks the fish cleaning station's not working WTF!!!. Why have it? Looking forward to talking to you guys. Thanks for the early report Barz. Hope the water is warming up to 57 in the backs of the coves in the afternoon so the smallies will turn on.

Good luck to all you northerners that get to hit the lake this week. I'm looking forward to hearing some great reports afterwards. Tight lines everybody!

Thanks Buzz, Hoping to get cleaned and sealed before heading back to WY, they still recognize Utah's seal.

Hall’s update...
We did not get on the water till about noon, and just sorta goofed off.
One moment it’s calm and warm and a few minutes later Whitecaping and gust from various directions. That was the story of the day.

Water temps averaging 54 in the main channels from noon on with temps up to 56 in a few shallow sun favored areas. That is where my wife caught our one fish today, a nice little smallie in about 4 foot visibility water, sandy bottem at the edge of a bunch of boulders, and 56 degree water.

Fish cleaning station at the Halls Ramp , very closed

Halls Store only open limited time and sporadically. It is currently being run part time by the manager from Bullfrog, till they get someone to manage it... there is no one hired yet... very little food in the store, 2-3 cans of Spam and some postcards...lol. But no ice unless the store is open...

Gas pumps work

No one is cleaning bath and showers, but they work.

We did not catch fish today ( correction, I did not catch fish today, my wife did), graphed and trolled Halls Wall immediately down lake, ( should have read Wayne’s new report sooner!) across the channel and throughout Hall’s Bay... saw nothing.

But it was a great day, looking forward to tomorrow, but with out the wind, I hope!

Lots more people in the primitive campground, with Boats!

Hoping the water temps keep rising, and wish the water level would too!

Well, got home to way too much work and a lot of "life", so sorry for never getting a follow up report in. Not pertinent now, but just for the future archive, here's a very brief one...
We fished mostly Halls Bay the first couple of days, mostly very clear water, temperature coming up about a degree a day, 56 or so when we started, up to 60 in some areas later in the week. I caught very little, good thing Mrs. BarzArz was there! :)
She caught a couple of nice Smallies and the skinniest Striper I have ever seen, in about 2 foot of water in the very back of a side canyon and creek. Our Son and Granddaugter from SLC joined us for the weekend, We made a run to Good Hope, fished all day, with very little luck in really clear water. But had fun and we were all impressed with the floating bathroom! lol
Gor in a pretty good blow headed back to Bullfrog, made for a long drive, but back and loaded. Fished Halls some more with limited luck.

We had a great visit earlier in the trip with Dano from Farmington, thanks for stopping by Dano, it was a great pleasure!
Also, so after moving over to the Bullfrog camp ground we had a very enjoyable visit and boat tour with Kokanee64, wonderful couple and an amazing boat!

Have just ran to Montana last weekend and bought a new (to us) fishing boat, so we will get some pictures up for that soon.
It was really nice running into Wordlings at the lake, great bunch of folks!
