Sweet! Sounds like we have similar backgrounds. Been working in the woods for 25+ years and just sold a tree service business we operated for 20 years. I suspect the fish wouldn't like what I do with most that I catch. Speaking of which, it's about time for a family fish fry.
We had a friend get so excited at seeing his first striper boil that he put a fish hook thru his thumb. Pushed it all the way thru and then soaked it in brandy as that was the only disinfectant we had on board. Never got infected.
