Funny thing about this is my Dad bought a log cabin kit back in 1984 that we had to put together. The logs were all shaped and had notches in the end like a big Lincoln log kit. We built the whole thing together as a family. It was an amazing experience and we still enjoy it to this day. It is about 3600 ft2.

I know, right? It was bigger than our house, but mostly due to the unfinished basement. The only problem was that instead of having just our family up there when we visited, we were usually trying to accommodate 2-3 families since we had a lot of visitors. I blame that place for my only real fishing experiences being in rivers and creeks with a fly rather than lake fishing. I have no patience for casting a line and letting it sit or trolling.At what size does a cabin become a spacious home?
