The SJ!! Our favorite part of the lake. I remember parking the houseboat just to the side of that overhang many, many acre feet of water (and many years) ago.
I'm thinking that overhang is closer to the mouth of the SJ. We also camped in Wilsons Creek many trips at higher water levels. We actually got married in Wilsons Creek. Not a lot of spots for a houseboat the last few yearsIS that Wilson Creek? We spent a lot of time on the SJ over the years - back when the lake was up Wilson Creek had some great spots.
BEAUTIFUL!! I'd love to spend some time on the lake in the late fall when crowds are gone and the water is still.
x3 - I always thought it would be fun to go there for Thanksgiving.
Oh, me too! I've tried to talk my family into in but so far no luck. I did talk them into Easter one April.x3 - I always thought it would be fun to go there for Thanksgiving.

I have a few pics from our adventures on the CANYON RIDER this season, mostly good but some not so good. Will post pics through out the off season. How about sharing a photo or two from this year's adventures? I'll start with this one from our recent trip to Annie's Canyon.
For this thread, let's use the "Full Image" option when posting. Doing this will insert the image right into the body of the post. That means less clicks for all of us who want to view them.
Photo uploads are limited to 1Mb each - and that allows for a HUGE photo. However, please be frugal and post photos of an appropriate size (for viewing and storage). This one, for example, is about .25 Mb (256 Kb) and the resolution is about 700 by 700. HD resolution is 1920 by 1080 and so the max resolution we currently support is 1920 by 1920 (to accommodate both portrait and landscape orientations of HD content). Thanks!
