I keep telling the wife there might not be enough water anywhere this year to get the boat out she's says there's water in the ocean I'm thinking that's some kind of hint?

Long ways to go truck camper and boat I get 8 to 10 mph depending on the wind. We booked a tuna trip at Coos Bay last year the coast guard closed the bar anything under 30 ft. the 4 days we stayed, we had a good time doing other things though I'm just glad I didn't tow the boat that far for nothing. Pretty sure we're going to try again this year but some where else on the coast Coos Bay had a rough year last year as far as the bar being opened for smaller craft. I'm loving diesel prices it doesn't seem that long ago the first diesel truck I got it was 1.20 a gallon

Looks like I've got to plan more trips to Ketchikan this year. 5 wasn't enough last summer

Ha, I get that! Happens to me all the time! You didn't miss much, fishing wasn't great. But the weather and camping was on point.

I might be heading down to point loma dragging the boat to go chase yellowtail and halibut. San Diego is always pleasant in September.
