Dad was flying out of Cahm Ran Bay Vietnam 30 years Navy man. He went on to do 20 more years state cop Ca. I was MCRD San Diego 1990. Mogadishu Somalia 1992 1993. 10 years SWAT HRT emergency operations unit Sacramento Ca. and Department of Corrections Ca. 10 years 911 Ambulance Fresno Ca. 7 years now Veterans Emergency Dept. Pretty sure we saw it all @Dennis Jarvis thank you for your service brother.
 
Just talked to a friend who just left Powell. He was fishing North of Bullfrog 20 to 30ft of water using pink and white blade baits he caught a ton of walleye. he also used bottom bouncer 20 to 30ft deep. walleyes not shallow My whole family is Navy 2 sons, sister, brother in law. I sacrifice an anchovie for bait. I fillet it but leave the skin on. Cut into 1 inch chunks. I even use the rib cage and belly skin.
Hook those 1 inch pieces thru the skin. The NEVER come off. You'll have to cut them off.
Works great and I don't have to find anchovies in town

i think you meant striper. And if we fish bait, it's cut bait not chovies.

I know it’s a big ask but:::::: How far north? All the way to Good Hope?
