I saw this last night and it seems pretty accurateHere's a recent overview, with pictures...
I always do that too, and then the kids always mess it up. Every. Dang. Time.Just for fun I always drive a wood stake right at waters edge as soon as I arrive.
Then over the next couple days you get to watch rise or fall.
Tell the kids the stake keeps the dreaded Lake Powell vampire sharks away......I always do that too, and then the kids always mess it up. Every. Dang. Time.![]()
POk3s description was spot on. I retrieved my 19' Lund (tandem axle trailer) with my crew cab long bed F350 on Monday this week (4/13) which is not a massive set up but still decently long and my trailer tires were still on concrete. The water was churned up when I launched and retrieved so I could not see the end of the concrete but my friend who was helping me retrieve back in way to deep (front tires in the water deep, haha) and still didn't hit the end of the concrete. I personally would not hesitate to launch a 25' boat right now.I think it would be great for everyone using the executive ramp take a picture of your launch on that day. It would be great to follow for us with upcoming trips. Maybe I'm just nervous.
That is good news! I assume the boats and the docks were gone too?Another thing worth noting, in his description POk3s mentions the 12' of water at the corner of the breakwater, and the possibility of cutting through to avoid that shallow water, as of 4/13, that corner and the southwest edge of the break water was gone.
No, not yet. The fuel dock and rentals had been moved to Halls, but it looked like all the slips and private boats were still in the same place they have been. In the video above the break water they are towing across the lake is the on that used to be there. That is good news! I assume the boats and the docks were gone too?
