I'm curious about the Navajo marina. How long ago was it there and where was it? Any info would be great!

With apologies to OP for deviating from the subject, just would like to offer a point of clarification.

Navajo Marina was another name for Paiute Farms Marina. This marina closed decades ago and was not at the confluence as stated earlier here. It was miles up the San Juan River Arm near where the running San Juan River water met the end of the lake in the San Juan at that time. All high and dry for many years now.

The confluence is where the San Juan Arm meets the main channel near Reflection Canyon. No marina was ever located at the confluence.

Next weekend will be our annual hiking and exploring trip based out of Bluff. This year, one of our planned day-trips is to head down SJC Road 423 to the site of the 1988-89 Paiute Farms Marina. I didn't start coming to Powell until '94 so I never saw the marina or anything past Zahn Bay. We will check out the waterfall while we're there as well.
