Blue notch camping

Hello! We are normally a boat camping crew but this year we wanted to try our bumper pulls on blue notch road. Never been. Is there spots to pull larger campers/ toy haulers and stay a few nights? Don’t want to get into hard areas with the campers but ride the Utv from camp to the lake. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

If I were you I would pull off the black top and take your side by side or 4 wheelers ride in and check it out.

I’ve seen a Honda civic back there close to the water in blue notch. Sometimes I think I’m too cautious, but then remember it’s just that other people are kinda dumb.

If I’m remembering correctly, there’s one spot on the Blue Notch road that has a rocky overhang that you wouldn’t be able to get a truck with a cabover past. I’ve only been there once, buried my truck, winched myself out, never caught a fish but had a great time. Sq

Watched , and assisted, a dude in a fancy chromed out Yukon back out a 35 foot fifth wheel from the first corner to the flats, glad I ran into him , he was gunna try to give er … I’ve drove it many times in my Cabover when I had it , and now our off-road camper .. the road is pretty washed out and rough this spring , at least when I was there . Mighta put a blade on it by now tho . Anyway I’m sure you’ve got enough warning by now to not try it with a medium or big rig .. gunna have a bad time like that dude spending two hours backing up his fifth wheel. You can always take in your Texas wheel chair(Utv) and be stared down by people that don’t care for those things, but maybe most people don’t care since they are everywhere I guess ..camp in the flats by all that broken glass and big ol fire ring with the big rigs . party on
