Houseboats are great for keeping the womenfolk happy and they are excellent for docking and beer storage. 5 houseboat trips and I’ve spent 0 nights in the bed, all on my boat tied to the “dock”. Sleeping on the boat is the ticket. Wake up, crack a beer and start fishin’. And the best kept secret about Powell is the floating poopers, camp close to one if you can. Enjoy, I’ve rafted and hoseboated a lot and my favorite trip by far is a shore camping fishing trip to Powell. That said, watch out for the weather it can f up your day in a hot second!
