Grey hackle, great meeting you on Saturday. Hope you don't mind me piggy backing on your post. Also, thanks for the tip about speeding up my trolling speed, it definitely helped.
The wife and I went for our second trip this year. We went up to GHB on Thursday and set up camp and boated a couple walleyes and striper that night. Friday we headed north to the horn and hit some stripers across from the horn, up close to the wall. Then we headed to 4 mile and really got into them for the rest of the day. Went back up on Saturday and it seemed to be better if that's possible. We got into several boils, most didn't last long enough to get into them, but we did have one that we pulled 5 fish out of. This rippin rap turned out to be the hottest lure for us. We ended up boating close to a hundred fish this trip.
We fished by you for a bit on Saturday at 2 mile and it was off the hook!! Could have caught as many stripers as we wanted to!!

Thank you all so much. We are going to go out of Bullfrog, so that's good to know. I'll stop at Fred's... thanks for that tip. I'll report back after next week, just excited to be out on the water with my boys, and hopefully make some tacos after.
Download the areas that you plan to be in on your phone. You can do this with various map apps, including Google Maps.

I was one of the boats up by Two Mile Friday and Saturday.
Pretty slow for bass of any size until later on Saturday afternoon but striper and walleye were doing just fine. I decided pretty early on after getting up there Friday mid morning that I was going to spend my time targeting walleye and it worked out pretty well. Caught all of them casting a 10.5 Dredger in 8-16 ft.. The stripers that I caught were eating it pretty good with most being hooked on both trebles but the walleye all seemed to be short striking it with most being barley hooked on the back treble. I was not using my net and lost more than a few wallys trying to grab them at the boat. Oh well, I filleted my fair share anyway and I'll just get em next time. Good trip, tons of shad.
I'll see ya soon.
What color was your dredger?
