Great video. I don't think their spot was all that dangerous. They had enough distance from the cliffs it looked like. I once camped in a finger of Labrynth and regretted it once the storm hit. Water came rushing through the camp site, and made a mess.
Thanks for sharing some great footage with us, pretty cool stuff. Looked like you were safe enough to enjoy the storm without too much concern for your safety. Video doesn't do it justice does it.
Great video Cliff! The only problem was that at the end of the YouTube video, it brought up a few more boating videos to watch, then after I watched those, it brought up a few more boating videos to watch - 2 hours later....it's easy to get sucked in....how addicting. I'd better get back to work
BTW, one of the videos I watched was of a boat crossing Lake Ockeechobee in Florida - talk about a filthy body of water! No disrespect to any Floridians reading this!
We sat through a similar event in Friendship one afternoon. The excitement of the rain storm was exceeded by a striper boil breaking out just behind the houseboat...everyone caught fish and got wet. Chuck
