Yea that’s what I hear. So we are most definitely wanting to fish the north end. But I’m not wanting to make the trip clear from the south end I just don’t feel comfortable make that far of a run In my boat

But being the only boat on the lake is not a bad thing some time
This was last January, but there not near as healthy this year, what a difference a year can make.

I fish both ends and you will find success either way. It is a further run to the canyons on the south end but no further than a daily run from BF to GHB. In the winter I like Navajo Canyon on the south end as you can catch all species. It sounds like it is already a long trip so I would ultimately suggest adding the extra hour or 2 and go south knowing you will be able to launch and enjoy the lake. Watch the winter Youtube videos from the south end.... There is great fishing everywhere. Most important piece is to get ON the lake !
