Fish shallow. Very shallow. Right next to shore. 3,4,5 inch grub in white, green pumpkin, or brown.
A suspending jerkbait also works. Fish are up in the water column where water is warmer. Also, bass are starting their spawning rituals. Even stripers are shallow. Caught one in about a foot of water. Good luck and tight lines
