I bought a pair of Unsinkable Polarized glasses about a year ago and so far have been happy with them. The nice part about these is they float!

you beat me to it! i was going to say ones that float! i've knocked about four pair into the water swatting at black flies or mosquitoes - never to be found again...

Depends on what is comfortable for you, your budget, and your eyesight. I need prescription or at least readers. Maui Jim and Costa are great. Bronze or copper is my choice. I use reader Maui Jim right now but considering getting progressive prescription. Ole man eyes....

Same here. I feel Maui Jim's have some of the best polarization in the business. I've been wearing them for work and play for at least 20 years. I too like the bronze but have rose also. Rose helps cut through dust at work and cloudy water when fishing. They are also very light. They have a pretty good repair/ replacement program too!!!

I just had both lens replaced at maui Jim for $90
If the earpieces or frames need replacing they usually replace those for free. I always bought two pairs. That way I would have a pair while the other one was in. I was pretty hard on my lenses being I was in construction

I am a sun glass junkie.
I like amber or grey lenses for low light situations. I like the blue for bright sky.
Always polarized! I can’t imagine not having high quality polarized glasses while fishing or boating.protect your eyes!
I have costa’s, Maui Jim’s , Bahios and Persols. I like all of them. Depends on the conditions,

I have had Costas, Smith, Maui Jim, Ray Ban and various high end and cheap sunglasses over the years. Costas have good optics but are really heavy and uncomfortable to wear all day. I have a pair now that I hardly wear for this reason. Smith glass lenses in the brown and amber colors are my favorites. They have great optics but the glass lense versions are much lighter than the Costas.
The brown and amber colors are best for spotting fish on the shallows, blue and mirrored lenses are best for bright days.
Making sure they fit your face and are comfortable to wear all day is more important than the brand IMHO!

It really depends on what you’re planning on using them for. If you’re hunting for bass on beds, fishing the tidal flats, or sight fishing trout/steelhead/salmon I wouldn’t use anything other than my Costas with the 580 G lenses. I can usually see more fish than anyone around when I have them on. The bad side is they are heavy and extremely uncomfortable. They hurt the bridge of my nose and behind my ears. if you’re just protecting your eyes from the sun, some light weight, Maui Jim’s, or Costas are both great. I used native sunglasses for years and their frames are indestructible. The lenses aren’t quite as clear as the two previous mention brands. I have also used Oakley‘s and they make a great pair of sunglasses, but for fishing seem to be slightly subpar to Costas and Maui Jim’s.

I have been a costa guy for a long time. I recently tried some smith guides choice and while the optics are great they don’t fit my face as well as I would like. I just got a pair of Jose Pro costas, green mirror, and I am super impressed. I also have a pair of yellow low light polarized that are awesome around dusk/dawn and especially when someone on the boat is chucking a fly and I would normally take my green lens off. I have heard Bahio is the new best bet, owned by the guy who started Costa (sold to Luxottica). Have yet to try them out. And a word of caution…the fake sunglasses business is booming beyond belief. I would only buy from an authorized reseller.
